So it is
February. Hearts and flowers month. So what happens if you do not have
someone to give you these items. Nothing! You get and give love to others
but most importantly you get and give love to the one who loves you most,
Jesus, our Lord and Savior. God is love and he is the lover of your soul.
No one could
ever love you like Jesus loves you.
So when you
don't have someone to share these romantic holidays remember it is just a
day created by Hallmark to sell cards. But the lover of your soul loves you
for who you are and for who He wants you to be. That is to become more and
more in his image, more loving, giving and forgiving of others but mostly of
yourself. Because if you have not begun to love yourself you cannot begin
to give love away. So look in the mirror each morning and say, “ Good
morning you beautiful creature, let's have a great day as this is the day
the Lord has made and see if we cannot find someone to bless.” When you
start your day on this note it will be a great day.
I stopped at
Walmart on my way home today and they had some beautiful tulips. I would
have loved to bought some but I knew I did not have time to plant them in
the next few days so had to let that opportunity go by for now. But it
starts to get me excited to think spring is just around the corner and I
will soon be getting my garden area ready for spring and summer. My
husband had purchased some solar pretties to add to my garden effects so I
know my gardens are going to look especially pretty this summer. We have
moved some of my large pots that I and up close to the patio as they were to
large for me to reach over and trim and water the plants on the patio
ledges.
I did not
buy the tulips but when I stopped at my grocery store they had some
miniature roses that I could not pass up. So I didn't and now they are
planted in some of the empty pots and look beautiful.
Whoops! As
you can see I did not submit my article for February but wanted to send it
along with my love any way. March is almost half over and I've been busy
planting seeds for spring, taking my mother in law to physician appointments
and putting drops in her eyes four times a day. Oh joy, joy!
I actually
purchased some berry plants for Dan, my right hand man, to plant and I know
he will be so happy to see them. Right!
Resurrection
Sunday is next week, I hope you will share God's goodness with your loved
ones and if they won't come invite someone who will. I trust you will share
the love of God with everyone with whom you come into contact.
God loves
you, he really does. More than anything else he wants to have a
relationship with you so that you can be whole. That is the reason he made
us. I often remember what it says in Revelations where it says “that for
his pleasure were we created. Thou art holy, oh God. And what gives him the
most pleasure is when we of our own free will choose to follow him, love
him, and bring others into the kingdom of God.
Hey, try to
remember to get my husbands new book when it comes on the market. You are
going to love it.
