Dear Friends,
My corner will
be unique from the rest of the web pages because I am a unique individual
which is just the way God made me. Therefore you too are a unique
individual, fearfully and wonderfully made. My husband is a physician and
our resident genius. God gives him such revelation and abilities. We are
quite different from each other but joined together in Christ. My reading
materials tends to be Christian fiction, preferably historical novels;
whereas, he likes to read educational or spiritual materials. I desire to
have some of his qualities but I still need to be free to be me. God made
us all different and we need to be very careful to not want to be like
someone else due to envy but because of some Godly traits they may portray
that would build one into a better person.
My corner will
have differing themes from time to time. One time I may discuss a book I
have recently read or talk about some place that I have visited. It will
usually be on a more personal note because that is the kind of person I am.
David and I
have been married for almost forty three years. Because we were not born
Christians we did not start out our married lives in Christ. But praise God
we are both serving the Lord now and that is all that counts. That's right
because of Christ all of our pasts are under the blood and that is right
where they need to stay. Don't bring them up to torment yourself because
God no longer remembers them. He put them in the sea of his forgetfulness.
Praise his holy name. It’s just exciting to know of His great love for me.
The very fact that He (God) loves me just as much as He loves Jesus just
boggles the mind... WOW!
I wanted to
continue with a few more personal facts regarding David and myself. We have
three grown children and several grandchildren. As I said David is a
practicing physician in San Antonio, Texas. We did work together for
several years but three years ago I decided it was time for me to get away
from the office. I now enjoy flower gardening, going to Curves, reading and
playing video games on my PC. And of course like all good women I enjoy a
little shopping.
That's it from
my corner this time. If you have something you would like to discuss or
would like my opinion on a certain book just email us and we will get back
to you.
See you next time,
Patti
