Dear Friends,
I am sorry to have missed corresponding with you for the past couple of
months. I have no great excuses except while I was in Maine from the last
of July through the middle of August; I have been experiencing a medical
set back and I have not yet fully recovered. I do so appreciate and covet
your prayers for my full and speedy recovery.
During our time in Maine, we had some special meetings. The scheduled
speakers where my husband, David, my sister Joyce and my Pastor Henry Adams
Jr. All brought the Word with power and anointing. To say the least they
were terrific and it was obvious that they had spent time with God in
preparation for these special services. All that was and will be
accomplished in the Spirit is not fully known at this time.
After the special services were over we spent some time vacationing with
my sister, Joyce and her husband Gene, Pastors Henry and Lavorn Adams. We
all had a great time fellowshipping and eating. Isn't that what Christians
do best eat and visit.
Much to my disgust I have not felt up to taking care of my plants and
they truly miss me for it. Pruning is necessary for growth in plants and
also in our spiritual lives. But the pruning off of the dead, unnecessary
stuff in our lives can be down right unpleasant and or just plain painful.
I say this not to convict you but more to myself. As I have not felt like
doing much of anything and it is an effort which I must make myself do in
order to regain my strength. In Christ Jesus I am healed, whole and about
the Masters business. Praise God.
I will close for now and look forward to better times ahead.
Hidden in His Love,
PATTI
