Dear Friends,
We went to Maine again
to enjoy the changing of the leaves. We call it leaf peeping. The colors
were just beautiful and we enjoyed several trips to areas where we could see
God's paint brush at its best. We were also blessed to see some small deer
playing in a field. We went by this field several times and they were there
most of the time. As you can see it doesn't take much to excite us. We
just enjoy all the beauty of the outdoors. That is we enjoy it as long as
it is not too cold; therefore, we do not usually travel to Maine to see our
families during the winter months. Thank goodness for emails and phone
lines. David has had several opportunities to speak recently for which we
praise God. I know one day God will allow him to be in full time ministry
and we will walk in faith together. We have been married for over forty
years so we are not about to change that and when God calls him to full time
ministry I will not be afraid because fear has torment and fear comes from
Satan who is the father of lies. That is how you know is he lying if you
see him move his lips. He just can't help it, it is his nature.
Thanks be to God our
nature is renewed by the renewing of our mind. So if all you can think of is
blue just start saying red, say it over and over. You cannot think one thing
while you are saying the other.
So when Satan brings to mind a bad deed you did in the past. Tell him it is
written our sins are removed as far as the east is from the west. When you
come at him with the Word he will have to flee. So resist him and give no
part in you. You are God's child and you are forever changing like the
beautiful leaves until we are just like him. We are to be perfect as he is
perfect. So put on the armor because when you have on the armor of God
Satan can't even see you all he can see is the God in you or you in God.
