THE LAND,
THE HOLY CITY, THE PEOPLE

We here at
Eastern Gate Ministries International Incorporated greet all of our partners and
friends in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is our prayer and goal that
this page on our website causes each person who reads it to receive
understanding and enlightenment. You can never walk in the fullness of God
except that you know the importance of honoring our brethren, the Jews, the Holy
City of Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the earth, and the nation of Israel.
Like James said; “But be ye
doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
(James 1:22)
Any of you
that have been watching events unfold with regard to Israel will know that the
posture of the United States of America has become increasingly hostile to
Israel under the Presidency of Mr. Barak Obama and Secretary of State Hilary
Clinton. In spite of 76 senators and 333 representatives sending letters to the
Secretary of State in support of Israel the vitriolic speech from the White
House and the State Department has continued unabated. This arrogance is a
direct manifestation of the influence of their father, the devil. And what is
the pretense of this pressure? The pretense is Israeli’s building on Israeli
land. This is pretense only and reflects hostility towards Israel that we the
Church can not ignore nor excuse for any reason. This nation, America, was
raised up by God for God to use in these last days for a blessing to Israel and
to take this gospel into all the earth. Having said that, remember that is no
guarantee of our fulfilling our mission. If we choose to fail, God will raise
up another.
Esther 4:14 (KJV)
14 For if thou altogether holdest
thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance
arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be
destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such
a time as this?
We hear about
the Palestinian question. There is no Palestinian question, this is a lie, and
a contrivance of Satan placed in the mind of people who do not have a mind
renewed to the Word of God. Let us talk about this for a minute. A Palestinian
is a person who lives in Palestine. So when and where does the term Palestine
arise? Palestine arises from the word Philistine. The use of the word
Palestine came about during the Roman occupation of that area. Satan has been
working feverously since the Garden of Eden to wipe out Israel and the Church.
Now, we are all well aware of the Philistines. Goliath for example was a
Philistine. The Philistines occupied the southern Mediterranean coast of modern
day Israel. The area the Philistines occupied includes the Gaza strip. The
main cites they established were Gaza, Ashkelon and Ashdod. Ashkelon and Ashdod
are now part of the map of modern Israel.
The
Philistines arose from the sons of Ham (Genesis 10:6-14). If you look at
Casluhim, the son of Ham from which the Philistines arose, you will find they
are of the same blood as the Egyptians. In fact the area occupied by the
Philistines was in more ancient time a part of Egypt. So it is really an
Egyptian question. Egypt is making no claim for that land and in fact has no
basis for a claim. In 1979 President Jimmy Carter met with the Egyptian
President Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin at Camp David.
A peace treaty was signed in Washington DC on the 26th of March
1979. This treaty established the borders of Israel and Egypt as they relate
one to the other. The Gaza strip did not become part of Egypt.
You can
research this in the Word of God from various angles but this is the land area
to be occupied by Israel.
Joshua 1:3-4 (KJV)
3 Every place that the sole of your
foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this
Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the
Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your
coast.
God did not
say here except where the Philistines live on the coast of the Mediterranean did
He? Pastor, saint of God, get your nose and belief out of the secular media and
get it on the Word of God and stand for that nation, that land, the land God
apportioned unto them forever!
Deuteronomy 32:8 (KJV)
8 When the most High divided to the
nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds
of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
The total
number of nations is seventy and this includes Israel. You can discover this
when you research the descendants of the sons of Noah. When Jesus sent out the
seventy if was a picture of the nations or a sending of disciples (those like
the Master) to the world, the nations. If you think about it, America is unlike
any other on the earth. We hear the term melting pot; America is representative
of the seventy nations. America, through the Church (Ekklesia) is the Jubilee
nation that sets things back to the former owners.
In the
February issue of Israel Watch I talked about Jerusalem. Remember there are
only a few things that God commands us to pray about and one of them is
Jerusalem. People of God this is not optional and a failure to do so when you
have light in that area is sin. If you are not diligent and discover the fact
you are to pray for Jerusalem you are still in sin. Church of the living God
awaken and get your act together.
Psalms 122:6-9 (KJV)
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy
palaces.
8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be
within thee.
9 Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
A
characteristic of God is that there is always a reward associated with
obedience. Obey God and walk in the fulness of the blessing!
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for
he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder
of them that diligently seek him.
Hardly a day
goes by that there is not a negative news report in the media about Jerusalem.
Many if not all of the nations of the world, even if the Church is not, are
focused on Jerusalem and Israel. Zechariah spoke of this as moved upon by the
Holy Spirit.
Zechariah 12:1-3 (KJV)
1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD,
which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and
formeth the spirit of man within him.
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the
people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and
against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all
people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all
the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
If America
burdens herself with Jerusalem and Israel rather then blessing them; she
(America) will inherit the whirlwind and be cut in pieces. And according to the
book of Esther 4:14 God will rise up another people to help and stand with
Israel. Be sure that the candidates in your area for which you have the
opportunity, the privilege and the responsibility to vote into office stand
unequivocally for Israel. Israel is not always right but it is not our place to
judge them, it is our place to bless them.
Genesis 12:1-3 (KJV)
1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and
from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew
thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and
make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth
thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Remember that
to not bless Israel is like beating yourself up. Just how smart is that?
Remember we are one with Israel in the body of Christ.
Romans 11:17-18 (KJV)
17 And if some of the branches be
broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them,
and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches.
But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
We the
gentiles, the Church are grafted into the same root as the Jew. Who is that?
JESUS!
Romans 11:25-26 (KJV)
25 For I would not, brethren, that
ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own
conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness
of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be
saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer,
and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Who is the
Deliverer? JESUS!
Romans 11:29 (KJV)
29 For the gifts and calling of God
are without repentance.
Ephesians 2:13-15 (KJV)
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who
sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath
made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the
enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for
to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Salvation as
come to the Jew and Gentile alike in Christ Jesus, we are one new man. Remember
in the end “all Israel shall be saved:”
In closing;
Isaiah 62:1 (KJV)
1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake
I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the
salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
For the sake
of Israel and the Church we can not be quiet or hold our peace. We have a duty
to insure that Israel and Jerusalem are whole (tranquil and prosperous). What
are you doing personally to this end? When someone asks you about Israel and
what is transpiring there do not respond in a daze and stupor with an attitude
like what does that have to do with me. It has everything to do with you!
Wisdom (the Word of God) is shouting, hey listen up!
Proverbs 1:20-23 (TLB)
20 Wisdom shouts in the streets for
a hearing.
21 She calls out to the crowds along
Main Street, and to the judges in their courts, and to everyone in all the land:
22 "You simpletons!" she cries. "How
long will you go on being fools? How long will you scoff at wisdom and fight the
facts?
23 Come here and listen to me! I'll
pour out the spirit of wisdom upon you and make you wise.

REMINDER
Christians
United for Israel (cufi.org) has declared Sunday, May 23, 2010 as Christians
United for Israel Sunday. Go to their website to register. I encourage all
Christians to not only declare the peace of Jerusalem and Israel but then on a
daily basis (yes daily) thank God for performing His oath. I strongly encourage
you all to honor Jerusalem, the Jewish people and Israel Sunday May 23, 2010.
Do it in love and the blessing of God will catch up with you and overflow in
your life.
