AFTER THE ELECTIONS
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! I am late with this
month’s letter for two reasons. One is that I wanted to wait until after the
elections. The second is that I then needed time to cool in order to write a
proper letter. The people of America have spoken at the ballot box and the
agenda of the Democratic Party has won. Both houses of the United States
Congress will now have a very clear plurality of Democrats. Please understand I
am not against Democrats but I am against an agenda that promotes sin. Sin cost
God all. The media, the Democratic Party and the events of more recent years
have instilled an attitude of change and an unwarranted dislike of President
Bush. The Pastors of America and the Church in general did not vote or were
deceived by the demonic forces which seek to steal, kill and destroy. It has
been demonstrated that when the Evangelical Christians will stand up and be
counted on the side of righteousness then righteousness will gain ground in our
nation. David Barton of Wallbuilders reported in 2007 that in the 2004
elections, 28.9 million (of an estimated 60 million) Christians voted and 7 of 9
freshman Senators were pro-life. In the 2006 only 20.5 million Christians voted
and only 1 or 10 freshman Senators was pro-life. What a difference. It is
clear that God’s people hold the choice for righteousness in their hands. So
what happened, they either did not vote or were deceived, either way they
entered into sin and are taking our nation in the direction of reproach
(Proverbs 14:34) and not exaltation (safety and prosperity).
Now let me make it clear why the first President Bush lost his re-election and
why the current President Bush has had trouble. This first President Bush with
his Secretary of State James Baker had their finger in the eye of God by not
honoring Israel. Mr. Baker to this day does not honor Israel for he is a chief
architect of the Roadmap to Peace which seeks to divide Jerusalem and create a
Palestinian state in Israel. They also manipulated our aid to Israel in an
effort to coerce Israel to behave how they thought things should go. Mr.
Clinton continued a similar course even having the terrorist Arafat to the
Whitehouse. During the Clinton years we had disgrace in the Whitehouse and
civilian casualties of this war of terror that exceed the military casualties of
the Bush years in a time of war. The current President with his Secretary of
State, Condoleezza Rice has continued to pressure Israel and advance the Roadmap
to Peace. You wonder why the war in Afghanistan and Iraq are taking so long and
are so expensive, look no further. (Genesis 12:3) In addition, there is the
ongoing scourge of abortion and homosexual union/marriage.
Mr. Obama, the President-Elect and the Democratic Party are emboldened as are
the satanic forces by the failure of righteousness in this 2008 election. Some
Pastors have failed to energize their congregants while others are deceived and
have gone after other gods. The Christians did not stand up and vote and vote
for life, individual right of self-defense and the sanctity of Biblical marriage
between a man and a woman. Remember Asa, king of Judah, he decided to not rely
on God, the author of all good, but to rely on man and God said they would have
wars.

9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth,
to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is
perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from
henceforth thou shalt have wars.
The day after Mr. Obama was elected the president of Russia boldly stated they
were moving missiles to the Polish border. This was supposedly in response to
the missile defense system we are to deploy in Poland and other European
countries. The Lord said that if we would pursue His ways we would dwell safely
in the land. That is to say no more Katrina’s or 9-11’s.
Leviticus 25:18 (KJV)
18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do
them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
What a deal, why do we refuse? Because the world is of their father the devil,
the one who steals, kills and destroys (John 10:10) and many Christians are
deceived and seek the hand of the destroyer rather then the one who came to give
us life and give it in abundance to overflowing.
News sources are already reporting that on entering office Mr. Obama plans by
executive order to immediately initiate steps to allow embryonic stem cell
research, lift abortion restrictions on U.S. overseas aid, stop drilling for oil
and gas in Utah and initiate an agenda to restrict, even eliminate our
Constitutional right to bear arms. Now is that what the Church wanted? Did
they want more abortions (innocent blood), destruction of embryos and fetus’
(abortion by any other name), less exploration for oil and gas, and a potential
loss of our ability to defend ourselves in the home? Senator McCain, Governor
Palin and other righteous men and women were not the ones rejected; this
election was a rejection of God Himself.
1 Samuel 8:7 (KJV)
7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people
in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have
rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
I want to introduce some information concerning three levels of information.
The first and lowest level is knowledge. You are given information so you now
have knowledge concerning a certain thing. Like you and I have knowledge about
airplanes but we can not operate one. The next level concerning the use of
information is understanding. Using the example of the airplane, understanding
an airplane means that we can now operate the plane. The very highest use of
information is wisdom and of course the wisdom of God tops the cake. Wisdom in
an airplane would be with regards to the best and highest use of the plane.
This would mean not flying under conditions you have not been thoroughly trained
for or using the plane in a way contrary to its design. Look at the following
verse.
Proverbs 1:7 (KJV)
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but
fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Here we find that “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge:” Remember
knowledge is the very lowest use of information. Fear of the Lord means that we
do everything in our power to not offend God. So God is saying that before we
can have true understanding or wisdom we must have a fear of God. That is, we
make every effort not to offend Him. The verse goes on to say that fools
despise wisdom and instruction and the reason is because they do not fear God
they are their own god. Do you suppose that abortion offends God? If you have
questions look at Leviticus 20:1-5 and Psalm 106:36-38. God hates the spilling
of innocent blood (Proverbs 6:16-19), it is an abomination to Him. God said
that if you act as the heathen the land will spue (vomit) you out.

22 Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and
do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
Now let us return to the fear of the Lord. Look at the following verse.
Proverbs 1:22 (KJV)
22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the
scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
This election involved millions of simple ones. The word simple used in this
verse means to be open to deception, to be (causative make) roomy; easily
allured, easily enticed, easily flattered, persuaded, or silly. This is not
very complimentary but the consequence of not fearing God. That is where we are
and now the Church must humble itself and turn from wickedness (2 Chronicles
7:14).
The flow of innocent blood is unacceptable. The Church must stop letting the
devil set the agenda and they must talk God’s agenda. Abraham Lincoln in his
second inaugural address commented about another spilling of innocent blood that
of slaves. He was discussing the Civil War and how neither the north nor the
south had expected the “magnitude” and “duration” of the conflict. Mr. Lincoln
said: “Both read the same Bible, and pray to the same God; and each invokes His
aid against the other.” “Fondly do we hope-fervently do we pray-that this
mighty scourge of way may speedily pass away. Yet, if God wills that it
continue, until all the wealth piled by the bond-man’s two hundred and fifty
years of unrequited toil shall be sank, and until every drop of blood drawn with
the lash, shall be paid by another drawn with the sword, as was said three
thousand years ago, so shall it must be said “the judgments of the Lord, are
true and righteous altogether”” Abraham Lincoln was speaking of the innocent
blood of slaves and the fortunes amassed at their expense. What might be
required of the unrepented spilling of the blood of some 40-50 millions innocent
persons in the wombs of their mothers? We have elected persons to office that
will increase the killing, God help us.
We have elected persons to office and passed laws that will increase the
visibility and acceptability of the homosexual lifestyle. In Connecticut same
sex marriages are moving ahead due to unrighteous judges calling evil good. God
says “Woe” unto those that call good evil and evil good.
Isaiah 5:20-21 (KJV)
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put
darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet
for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent
in their own sight!
You have seen this play out in the elections and you see this everyday in the
secular media. Let us as a nation return to God and He will return to us.
Malachi 3:7 (KJV)
7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine
ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return
unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
The next two years will see unprecedented turmoil and problems in this nation
and the heathen will scurry about in confusion but you need not be a part of
that.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble
themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then
will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
In two years we go back to the polls to vote for our representatives and many
senators. We can repent now, pray; honor our leaders for all things are
possible with God. And in two years we can vote for righteousness. Remember
that when Israel was conquered in times past not all the people were wicked but
none the less the righteous were caught in the snare. For example Daniel and
the three Hebrew children but due to their fear of God they rose to positions of
honor in Babylon.
